Sanai at the babysitter's

Sanai loves being at the babysitter. They do her hair too. They send me pictures so that I won't come by all day! LOL

Surprise! Happy Birthday Mikal!

Okay....so I decided to give Mikal a surprise party as if I don't already do a thousand things. I had a fish fry. This was so funny. I NEVER ask Mikal to go pick up the baby, especially since it is by my work, but I was slammed with errands and cleaning and planning..lol. My evite said to be at the house by 6:45.....I was just walking in the door. Anyway.....I had MIkal go get the baby at 6PM. Then my babysitter's husband, Michael was stalling him and then he and Victoria(his wife and my babysitter #1) and India (babysitter #2) were on their way. I called Mikal and told him that I needed him to stop at the store....this is also something he has never had to do without me present....alone with the baby. Then I called him after he had the baby back in the car and said I needed something else. Well....when he finally got to the house (after I am sure I was called a few names)......Surprise! We had a lot of fun. Everyone was able to make it and around 11PM, Mikal's parent's showed up in time for us to sing Happy Birthday and to rock Sanai to sleep because she did not want to miss her daddy's birthday party. She was all the way live. :-) Thanks everyone for everything and a special thanks to Soror Cynthia!

Happy birthday sweetie!

Spring Break in Lumberton

So.....mom and I got up the first day (after a very rested first night) mom went to work an I got my hair done. Then we went to eat with dad. Sanai sat in a real high chair and almost fell out a few times. We had a fabulous lunch at Adelio's and Sanai had Squash. After that mom Sanai and I went for massages. My mom's was quiet because I kept Sanai mute. HOWEVER...when it came time for my massage my mother never left with the baby. She talked on the phone.....those who know Edwina, know that she is NOT a quiet talker.....then she kept teh crying baby, AKA, Sanai in the other room where I could hear her and therefore....I was not relaxed. So the next morning I left them both at home and got a facial where I coudl relax for an hour. Whew.

Visiting with Adrienne in Carolina

We went to see my friend Adrienne. She loss control of her muscles and has been relearning to do everything. Look how great she is doing. Christmas she couldn't hardly hold the baby. She did so well. We made a pact....She and Sanai will be walking at the same time without ANY help! We are rooting for you Adrienne! Love ya!

Khalil taking care of sissy.....

Khalil was doing a great job at keeping his sister calm. She had been fussy all day and big brother to the rescue at the doctor's office. Turns out she was okay. Just had a little bit of fluid behind those ears. She absolutely hated the Amoxicillian. Spit up all of it, so we didn't take it. She was fine! (4/1/09)
